I'm Alejandra, a former undocumented immigrant protected by DACA until I obtained Legal Permanent Residency in November 2023. My blog documents my journey to citizenship, revealing the layers of my childhood, trials in my early twenties, and lessons from early adulthood. The Trump era exposed flaws in DACA, emphasizing the need for reform.

I delve into my role as a token, the challenges of outspokenness, and the impact of my circumstances. Fueled by passion and my family's sacrifices, my blog is a guide for undocumented youth, an homage to their resilience, and a call for progress in addressing persisting issues.
